REVIEW NEEDED

This page describes security measures, payment processing and data retention practices that have not been checked against the tools David actually uses. It is business copy, not legal advice. These statements and any contract-adjacent terms need verification and review before this note comes off.

We believe clear expectations build trust. These website terms explain the basic rules for using our website and provide general information about D'Franco Painting & Wallpaper. Project-specific pricing, scope, payment terms, warranties, scheduling requirements, and other contractual terms are governed by the written proposal or agreement for that project.

Website Information

The information on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes. We work hard to keep our content useful and accurate, but painting products, manufacturer specifications, prices, project conditions, building materials, and recommended methods can change. Website content should not replace an on-site evaluation or the terms of a written project agreement.

Transparent Pricing

We believe homeowners and business owners deserve useful pricing information before they are forced into a sales conversation. Our Instant Pricing tools, articles, price guides, and examples are intended to provide realistic expectations based on the information available to us. Online prices and ranges are estimates, not binding project quotes. Final pricing can change based on actual measurements, surface condition, repairs, access, colors, materials, project scope, and other job-specific factors. Before additional work is performed, we work to clearly communicate changes and obtain approval when required.

Estimates & Project Agreements

A written estimate or proposal describes the scope, inclusions, exclusions, products, pricing, and other terms for a specific project. When there is a difference between general website information and a signed project agreement, the signed agreement controls.

Scheduling, Deposits & Payments

Scheduling, deposit requirements, payment schedules, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, and project-specific conditions are provided in the applicable proposal or agreement. Start dates can be affected by weather, product availability, customer-requested changes, unforeseen conditions, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

A 50% deposit books the work. We accept cash, check and card. We do not offer financing.

Additional Work & Changes

Painting and remodeling-related work sometimes uncovers conditions that were not visible during the estimate. Examples include damaged drywall, water damage, failed coatings, rotten wood, wallpaper-related wall damage, or other repairs. When additional work is recommended, we explain the issue, available options, and any additional cost before proceeding when approval is required.

Workmanship & Warranty

Warranty coverage is governed by the written warranty and project agreement provided for the applicable service. Warranty coverage generally applies to qualifying workmanship and does not cover conditions outside our control, such as water intrusion, structural movement, substrate failure, customer damage, or product/manufacturer issues. Customers should refer to their written project documents for exact coverage and exclusions.

Customer Responsibilities & Site Access

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to agreed work areas and for communicating known hazards, access restrictions, pets, alarm systems, fragile items, or other conditions that could affect the project. Project-specific preparation responsibilities will be communicated before work begins.

Safety & Existing Conditions

We take job-site safety and property protection seriously. Some projects may reveal pre-existing defects or conditions that cannot be identified before work begins. D'Franco Painting & Wallpaper is not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions except as specifically agreed in writing.

Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

Cancellation, deposit, refund, and dispute terms are governed by the applicable written proposal, agreement, and Illinois law. If there is a concern with a project, we ask customers to contact us promptly so we have an opportunity to review the issue and work toward a reasonable solution.

Privacy & Website Security

Our collection and use of website information is explained in our Privacy, Security & Data Protection Policy.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website text, photographs, videos, graphics, branding, and other content created by D'Franco Painting & Wallpaper are owned by or licensed to D'Franco Painting & Wallpaper and may not be republished for commercial use without permission.

We may update these terms as our website, services, policies, or legal requirements change. The visible "Last updated" date on this page reflects the most recent revision.
